By the time you read this, you've probably already seen The Dark Knight. Maybe you've seen it a couple of times. Perhaps this post is old news, but we'll put it up anyway.
Not many of you listen to the awesome Star Trek podcast that J.R. and I do every couple of weeks. This last podcast, however, we devoted a good third of the recording to just talking about The Dark Knight. I think it's a fun listen. Download that podcast right here. The Batman talk is the final half hour (roughly an hour in).
If you're too lazy to do that, just click on the Quicktime bar below which starts right at the Batman talk. You could go ahead and play it and then open up a new Firefox window and continue your other web surfing.
EDIT: You may notice that the convenient Quicktime bar doesn't necessarily appear in Google Reader (or perhaps not in whatever feed system you use). Don't worry. If you click on the entry, the listening bar will still appear in the blog.

well i liked JRs comment about gylenhol (i have no idead how to spell that), uh.. maggie. that he could just fold her up and put her in his pocket and take her out anytime! so funny!
well you guys seem to know quite abit more about it than i do but i noticed that there were some parallels to the bush admin. bush is strongly disliked like batman for his tactics in combating terrorists which the jokers thugs were refered to as more than once. teh gotham population wanted batman to turn himself in at one point in the movie. at least half of the US population wants bush to recognize that he was wrong for the USA Patriot act and gitmo and give himself up..ie resign from the presidency. and teh cell phone waves to track the "terrorists" is synonimous with the Patriot Act. in the end batman didnt have to give up his identity (change his tactics) to catch the bad guys. i dont think this is far fetched either since there are movies that portray bush and his admin in a negative light. any thoughts?
